Fulham will have another opportunity to continue the push for automatic promotion as they entertain Reading who seems to have nothing to play for. The cottagers should score at least twice to record another 3 points. Details as follows;
Fulham vs Reading
Pick: Fulham win and over 1.5 goals
ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW
Fulham welcome Reading to Craven Cottage in a superb form with automatic promotion starting to become a real possibility. There is no doubt Fulham have been the best side in the league in recent weeks. They have played all of the top teams recently and beaten them all. Wolves, Derby, Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough have all given 3 points to the London outfit. Out of their 5 remaining games they have 3 at home and every opposition is outside of the top 9 places.
They’ve achieved amazing results in the last eight weeks. Many victories melted the gap Cardiff City had over Fulham FC. They are now only two points behind a spot which grants direct promotion to the English Premier League.
Aleksandar Mitrovic has already bought the hearts of the fans after scoring six goals in the last seven games. We expect him to lead the attack against Reading tonight.
Reading however still have some work to do to stay in the Championship. They currently lie 5 points above the drop zone after their narrow 1-0 victory over Preston last time out. 2018 hasn’t been kind to the them as they have only picked up 3 wins this calendar year and that could cost the come the end of the season.
Paul Clement has come in recently but is yet to make any real impact and looking at their squad they do lack real quality.
Everything points to another comfortable night for the cottagers. Backing them to win and score twice look a nice approach here.
