England League one

Wigan vs Chalton

Pick: Wigan to win

Odd: 1.50

ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW

Wigan have started life in League One very well and are hot favorites to win the league. Their league stats this season stand as P23, W16, D4 and L3. GF49 and GA just 12! They seem to have everything at the moment, they score plenty of goals and concede very few. Their last game was a 0-0 draw at home to 2nd placed Shrewsbury, however, Wigan had some real chances to win the game and on another day they could have scored like 4 goals.

Prior to the draw against the Shrewsbury, Wigan had scored 13 goals in their last 3 league games conceding 0. Manager Paul Cook has some great players at his disposal, playing some great football and they look hard to beat.

Chalton started the season well under Karl Robinson, however, he seems to have lost it a little lately and they find themselves in 9th position. They are slowly moving further away from the play off places. Charltons stats this season stand as; P23, W10, D6, L7, GF31, GA30. They head into this game on the back of a 3-1 defeat against Southend on Boxing day.

Charlton haven’t won a league game since their 2-1 victory vs Rochdale on the 21st November. Confidence is clearly low and a trip to Wigan will be the last thing they’d wanted right now.

All in all, can see only one winner here which clearly is the host. Brave punters can go for a home win with -1 Handicap priced at above 2 odds.
