ENGLAND PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEWS AND PREDICTION
Feel good to have the England premier league back after two weeks of international football. The big one this weekend is coming from North London as Arsenal battle Tottenham Hotspurs in what promise to be a scintillating North London Derby. Leicester city set to be the next Manchester city’s victim as they welcome the unstoppable citizens to the King power stadium on one of saturdays 4pm games. Defending Champion Chelsea travel to Westbrom while Manchester united should return to winning ways as they entertain Newcastle united. Below are our thoughts on these three England Premier League Games;
ARESENAL VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS 1:30PM
Arsenals 3-1 defeat last time out at the hand of the unstoppable manchester city brought their six games unbeating streaks to a halt. They’ve suffered defeats against the likes of Stoke, Liverpool, Watford and Manchester city winning six and drew against Chelsea.
At home The Gunners are unbeaten in the league though, and have actually won all five of their matches. It’s important to note that they haven’t faced any of the top sides at The Emirates so far though, so wins against the likes of Leicester, Bournemouth, West Brom, Brighton, and Swansea count for little when coming face to face with Tottenham. Arsene Wenger will be desperate to see his men finally beating a top-six opponent. The main challenge will be covering the holes at the back since the Gunners allowed two or more goals in three of their last four league outings.
Major boost for Spurs is the news of attacking midfielder Dele Alli passing the latest fitness test.
Their main weapon should thus come in the like of Heung Min-Son who notched the match-winner against Crystal Palace last time out.
Despite Arsenal strong home record i don’t think they will be able to hold the Spurs for the entire 90 minutes and their is every chance the gunners will at least score a goal too. Therefore both teams to score look a good bet here.
PICK: Both teams to score @1.55
WEST BROMWICH VS CHELSEA 4PM
Struggling Westrom would have hoped for better fixture when the Premier league returns tomorrow but they will be entertaining the reigning Epl champions(Chelsea).
The Baggies made a promising kick off to the campaign, but they’ll host the champions being winless in ten consecutive outings in all competitions. Latest of the failures for Tony Pulis and his men came two weeks ago when they fell to newly-promoted Huddersfield Town 1-0 away from home. The defeat has made it three losses on the trot for WBA who allowed at least two goals in three consecutive fixtures at The Hawthorns.
This will be the music to the ears of Alvaro Morata who’ll head into this full of confidence after making the difference in the last weekend’s derby with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward confirmed the good shape by contributing to his national side’s thumping of Costa Rica (5-0) with a goal.
It is fair to say Antonio Conte’s side has been impressive on the road so far in the season as they’ve won five and lost one of six matches away from Stamford Bridge in this term.
Chelsea kept their net untouched in the last season’s meetings with WBA. They’ve won three and drawn one of last four H2H ties and they have generally been more successful by 14 wins ahead of the 107th meeting with the Baggies.
This is a type of game the blue should win if they are to have any tiny of hope of retaining the title. Everything points out to a pleasant afternoon for the Blues and we see the away win as the banker bet at the odds of 1.53.
PICK: Chelsea win at 1.55 odd
LEICESTER CITY VS MANCHESTER CITY 4PM
Manchester City . Pep Guardiola’s side has indeed been impressive so far in the season winning ten of 11 outings in Premier League and each of four ties in their respective Champions League group.
The Citizens have been ruthless along the way netting the impressive tally of 38 goals so far in the league. This is a massive 15 goals more than the second high-scoring side while it’s only their city rivals Manchester United with a better defensive record so far. Their form in the continental competition has been equally impressive with City netting 12 goals during the four-win run.
Leicester City have seen their fortune turn around since parting ways with Craig Shakespeare. Claude Puel has won four points from two league outings since taking charge and the 2-2 draw at Stoke City has made it three wins and three draws in last six out5ings in all competitions for the Foxes.
The Foxes will be looking to build on the fine form in the most recent H2H ties with the Citizens as they’ve won two of last three meetings with Man City. Each of these has, however, seen both teams on target.
It’s hard to go past the away win bet here given Man City’s hot run of form. We do expect the visitors to net loads against a vulnerable defensive line of Leicester’s and we’ll pick Man City and over 2.5 goals at 1.75 Odd.
PICK: Manchester city win and over 2,5 goals
