Leeds United vs Sheffield United

ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW

Leeds had a decent start of the season but fell apart in recent weeks. They lost 3 of their last 5 games and despite the recent confident victory over Bristol the team needs a lot more stability. The defensive line goes from a clean sheet to conceding 3. The attack also needs some consistency and if Christiansen manages to a cure for this particular weakness we may see one very strong promotion candidate.

Leeds once again played their preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. Saiz pulls the strings behind the main striker while Lasogga is expected to bring the goals in.

Sheffield despite being promoted this year is looking like a promotion candidate again. The team sits 3rd in the table and shows relative stability and outstanding performances at the back. They still haven’t got a draw and enter this game after 2 consecutive victories. Away from home they have 3 victories and 3 defeats but interesting note here is that the team scored in each of their last 4 trips.

Sheffield like to mix their style. The often switch formation and keep their opponents guessing. Last game they played in a 3-4-1-2 formation with their almost permanent striker partnership Clarke and Sharp leading up front.

Its quite difficult to predict who will come out victorious here even though the bookies sees the home team as warm favourite, but we can be confident backing both teams to find the back of the net.
