Ireland Premier Division

Bohemians vs Dundalk

Pick: Dundalk win and over 1.5 goals

Odd: 1.60

Bohemians welcome Dundalk to the Dalymount park at Dublin tonight. The home team will be giving their all and hoping to atleast get something from the game but its unlikely their all will be enough to stop the visitors who have been dismantling teams both home and away recently.

Bohemians haven’t been very consistent at home and their win over struggling Sligo Rovers was only their first win at home since April so it’s really tough seeing them hold off the in-form Dundalk tonight. They have failed to regularly net goals and will surely find it tough to break down Dundalk’s defensive line at Dalymount Park.

Dundalk have made it 4 wins in a row since their dissapointing 3-0 loss against their arch rival Cork city. They sit comfortably at the 2nd position and that is most likely where they will be throughout the season. They are not likely to catch up with pace setters Cork city(12 points diff.) and they are not likely to drop to 3rd(10 points cushion).

Dundalk ongoing 4 winning streaks have been a convincing one. They came against Drogheda United, Finn Harps, Galway United and Bray Wanderers since their early June loss at Cork City, and convincingly earning the 2nd spot on the league table. And furthermore, they have no problem bagging goals playing home or away from home. They’ve scored a massive 15 goals in their last five matches on the road which give the impression that they will surely bag few goals tonight.

Therefore, I think Dundalk will come out victorious here and can’t see this clash not producing at least 2 goals at fulltime.
