Sweden Allsvenskan

Sirius vs AFC Eskilstuna

Pick: Sirius win and over 1.5 goals

Odd: 1.68

ANALYSIS AND MATCH PREVIEW

Third place Sirius welcome rock bottom Eskilstuna to the Studenternas IP this afternoon and all stats points to a convincing home win.

This is a clash of teams in contrasting end of the form table. Sirius have been one the most inform team in the Division recently and this has handed them a third place in the table and even aiming higher as they are now 5 points behind second place Norrkoping.

Their 2-1 win last time out at Sundsvall makes it their third consecutive wins over the past month. Their average of 1.83 points per game should increase here playing against the weakest team in the division.

AFC Eskilstuna are really suffering for form since the season started and more so recently. They’ve suffered 8 losses in their last 9 outings, earning just one point in their last 7 games played on the road. This is a very bad stats to take to place like Studenternas IP.

As dreadful as the visitors have been all season though, they still almost normally find a way to score. They’ve scored in all but one of their last six games, so we can’t rule out an Eskilstuna goal in this game.

All in all, a home win looked writing on the wall and since we are likely to see many goals in this game, backing Sirius to win and over 1,5 goals look the best approach here.

GOOD LUCK!
